ICP NETWORKS swung into action to show their support of CITC and their skills on the golf course.
The ICP Networks team consisting of senior account directors Chris Rendell and Jim Wingrove joined forces with Shane Congreve and Glenn Odell from Holcon Systems for the annual Blues on the Green golf day at Mottram Hall in Cheshire.
And word of their golf skills and IT and Networking knowledge has clearly spread as they were joined by City stars Fernando and Fernandinho for an impromptu putting competition.
Our team performed heroically though they are perhaps unlikely to be troubling the Ryder Cup selectors but as ever charity was the winner.
ICP Networks Chris Rendell, said: “It is a great day, it always is. ICP Networks have been supporting CITC and the golf day in particular for three years or so and it is a great way of raising much-needed funds for the charity.
“CITC work with thousands of youngsters in and around Greater Manchester provided huge levels of support and their funds are raised largely through events like this and the support of local businesses like ICP Networks.
“It’s always a lot of fun and to be joined by Fernando and Fernandinho and the Sky Sports cameras made it an event to be remembered.”
The event is followed with a wonderful meal and charity auction which included a signed City shirt and various sporting memorabilia.
ICP Networks MD Matt Archer joined the team for the post-golf celebrations and was honoured to spend time reflecting on past glories with former City legend Paul Dickov.
