Manchester City striking sensation Alvaro Negredo teamed up with ICP Networks – to the surprise of lucky schoolchildren.
The giant hit man joined ICP Networks MD Matt Archer to launch ICP Network’s sponsorship of City’s CITC program at a special event at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.
Negredo surprised the children from Ashbury Meadows Primary School by joining in with their Spanish lesson – thanks to tablets donated to CITC by ICP Networks.
Negredo answered questions in Spanish and then joined in as they searched for various words and phrases in Spanish with ICP Networks MD Matt Archer on hand to give advice.
“It was a great event, it shows just what the CITC program does and what a fantastic way for the children to learn, at the home of their favourite team,” Mr Archer explained.
“It was incredible to see the look on their face as they were asked about the club’s Spanish players and then their hero walked into surprise them.
“Alvaro was an absolute gentleman, he gave them lots of time and joined in with their lesson and then signed autographs, it really was a pleasure to be part of the event.
“The tablets will hopefully help these children and many others than take part in the CITC program and we are very proud to support them all.”
ICP Networks have donated 45 x 7″ tablets as part of a three year sponsorship deal with CITC.
