ICP Networks were honoured to join the Frank Lampard farewell party at Manchester City’s final Premiership game of the season.
The leading IT and networking suppliers were featured in the match day program dedicated to the retirement from English football of legend Frank Lampard.
ICP Networks are a proud supporter of Manchester City, City In The Community Foundation, or CITC, and joined the community team for a day of activity supporting Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day.
The program involved children from Crossacres Primary School in Manchester school joining the CITC team at the Etihad for a healthy eating lesson as part of the foundation’s ‘Strike a Balance’ programme.
“The day itself was a lot of fun but it delivered a serious message about the benefits of eating healthily and you can see from the pictures in the match day program the children had a lot of fun,” explained Matt Archer.
“We didn’t realise the day would be featured in the final Manchester City league game and of course the significance of that is that it was Frank Lampard’s final game in England.
“Hopefully this means more people than usual will have not only purchased a program but will hold onto it and that means more people will potentially read about the great work that CITC do and understand the importance of the healthy eating program.”
ICP Networks agreed an initial four-year sponsorship deal with CITC, providing two mini buses and a transit van which are vital in delivering the CITC program to thousands of youngsters in the Greater Manchester area.
