Honour
Matt Archer, said: “It was a great night and an honour for us to be even considered for such a prestigious award, especially when you consider the opposition we were up against in our category – a real David versus Goliath encounter.
“The building projects that we were pitted against in our category were really enormous projects, ranging from 150 to 450 times the size of our Lexicon House build but that fact that we were shortlisted proves we must be something right.
“We would like to offer our congratulations to Wessex Water for their success in securing the Excellence in Demand Reduction title for their work at Bridgwater Water Treatment Works, it was a very impressive project and they were worthy winners.
“The awards allow us to meet like-minded business and exchange ideas and insights into ways we can move forward and reduce our environmental impact even further and hopefully pass on some of our experience to others looking to make change.”
Wessex Water’s project at the Bridgwater Treatment Works has secured three awards for their £10 million scheme reducing waste a coastline sewage treatment works.
