As Cisco is the official network infrastructure partner for London 2012. I think we can hope for more than the London 2012 ticketing site has provided the public thus far. What a complete pain in the Toyota Yaris! Have you tried to get tickets? We applied for a wide variety of sports with great expectations and hope. Then we got the good news, not from London 2012! From my credit card statement, it took London 2012 ticketing nearly a further month to tell us we were successful in getting tickets for football only. Bit of a let down really, as football tickets were still available on the second round of tickets in the London 2012 lottery this past week. Still more hiccups with the way they were allocated, with folks being told they had got tickets. Only to find out they had not, and the tickets were already allocated and not taken off the available tickets on the website for ticketing.
I’m sure as the Olympics approach next year, this initial disappointment will be replaced by the enthusiasm the event deserves.
I have every faith the Cisco Router and Cisco Switch infrastructure will deliver the mission critical needs the London 2012 will require. We will all need our WiFi 🙂 to email pictures, social media postings and alike.
I found the below computing article to be nifty. See what you think.
