I am waiting to see if any Alpha Geek’s out there win the Euro Millions tonight, so they can splash out on that New Cisco CCIE Lab kit that Santa missed off the list this year. This would not be my preferred result if I am honest on the outcome of the Euro Millions, selfishly I would like to put myself forward for that 🙂
Money down the drain in my case… I can imagine if one of our CCIE friends won, they would have the BADDEST CISCO7609 with Dual WS-SUP720-3BXL ‘s loads of WS-X6708-10G-3C ‘s in town. Not to mention all of the bells and whistles in terms of routers, additional switches, etc.
For those of us, like me, destined to not have that budget there is a really cool article below in network world about lab kits consisting of Cisco 2500 & Cisco 2600 series routers, etc.
Let’s call it the Austerity Lab kit, hehehe 🙂
