His strike that secured the League Cup for City over Sunderland was picked out as the best City strike all season.
And ICP Networks were chosen by City officials to hand over the coveted award as a thank you for our backing of CITC, the City In The Community Project.
Manchester City packed out the Manchester Central venue for the event, hosted by comedian Jason Manford with former Smiths legend Johnny Marr taking star billing.
Thousands of Man City fans packed into the former GMEX venue to see their heroes ahead of the new Premiership season and celebrate last season’s title winning year.

ICP Networks provide financial and IT backing for the club’s community project CITC, who in turn provide support for thousands of youngsters across the Greater Manchester area.

“Taking to the stage at such a prestigious event was slightly nerve wracking, I just wanted to make sure I didn’t drop the award but Jason Manford was a fantastic host and it was a pleasure to play a small part in proceedings.
“Prior to City Live we were able to meet some of the other Man City partners at an event at the Etihad and it is humbling to see so many people determined to play a part in the club’s success but particular the success of CITC.”
ICP Networks have already provided tablets, used to deliver lessons in health, education and sport to the children, as well as two new vans and a mini-bus. The IT and Networking specialists have agreed a four year partnership with CITC.
